Ekta Mahila Sangathan unites women from socioeconomically and environmentally marginalized communities in the tribal districts of Gujarat, spanning eight talukas in Panchmahal, Mahisagar, and Dahod. By empowering our members, we strengthen their voices and agency at both household and community levels. Join us on this transformative journey of collective empowerment and resilience.
A world where every woman thrives – empowered to lead with confidence, compassion, and purpose. We stand together to dismantle gender discrimination and ensure equal rights and opportunities for all. We believe in the unleashing of women's full potential to shape a brighter future.
Ekta Mahila Sangathan, promoted by Utthan , is a women's collective aimed at developing local leadership and social capital for marginalized women in tribal districts of Panchmahal, Mahisagar, and Dahod in Gujarat, India.
To empower women and young girls by enhancing their agency, providing them with the perspectives, resources, and tools necessary to amplify their voices, gain access and control over productive resources, entitlements, and services, and take charge of their bodily autonomy.
Ekta Mahila Sangathan believes that women's empowerment is the cornerstone of a strong society. We work to uplift marginalized women by building social connections (social capital) and encouraging them to take charge of their lives (fostering agency). We champion gender equality, raise awareness on important issues, and promote self-reliance within communities. We are committed to sustainable development, because empowered women create a brighter future for all.
